Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer for the Imaging Interfaces team. You will keep fielded systems alive, triage issues across the full stack, and act as the technical representative in integrations with customers.

The role spans edge computing, gRPC services, diagnostics with field operators, and on-site support when needed. You will own software end-to-end in a fast-moving environment with real stakes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with production responsibility.
• Strong Python and C++ skills; ability to work in either language.
• 5+ years in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health and uptime; triage issues across the full stack.
• Build and maintain modular production services on edge devices.
• Support field operations; communicate clearly under pressure.
• Represent the team in external integrations with customers and partners.
• Maintain end-to-end system understanding across hardware, firmware, networking and software.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware and platform engineers.
