Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer to design a next-generation vehicle-to-mission interface that transforms vehicles into software-defined mission systems. You will lead architecture and delivery across hardware and software to create a common, reusable environment for mission kits and ensure robustness, cost‑effectiveness, and field readiness.

Qualifications

Designing new products and delivering hardware and software at scale.
Proven experience in complex system architecture and integration.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams developing software-enabled hardware products.
Ability to define power, data, networking and control interfaces for mission systems.
Understanding safety-critical frameworks including hazard analysis and safety case development.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end architecture of the vehicle to mission interface layer.
Lead architecture and delivery of a vehicle-to-mission interface layer for mission kits.
Architect compute module for vehicle translation and firmware for vehicle communications.
Define APIs, data models, and ICDs for reusable mission services.
Architect managed power and compute systems for robust operation.
Build plug-and-play mission kit framework across hardware and software teams.
Lead cross-functional engineering execution from concept to production.
Partner with OEMs and customers to drive platform adoption and deployment.
Be the primary engineering contact for internal and external stakeholders.
