Job summary

GRAIL is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel, Compliance, to serve as a strategic legal advisor across the organization. You will help navigate healthcare and corporate compliance, influence enterprise-wide initiatives, and foster a culture of integrity and ethical decision-making.

The role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a flexible, hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence at least 60% of the time, and collaboration with multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school is required.
• Active U.S. bar membership is required.
• 8+ years of legal and compliance experience in healthcare or life sciences.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare compliance laws and industry standards.
• Experience advising cross-functional teams in regulated environments.
• Ability to provide practical, risk-based recommendations while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal and compliance counseling to leaders across functions.
• Lead and scale GRAIL's global compliance program and governance.
• Develop policies, guidance, and Code of Conduct reflecting evolving laws.
• Design and deliver practical compliance training and communications.
