Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead and manage the Electrical Engineering department within the Manufacturing and Technology Business Unit (M&T). The role involves driving technical excellence, leading project reviews, and recruiting and developing staff across Semiconductor, Electric Vehicle, Battery, and Data Center initiatives.

• Experience on executing Electrical Engineering works in EPC projects.
• Knowledge of engineering calculations, CAD/CAE usage, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and participates in electrical engineering for large projects.
• Directs staff, estimates staffing needs, and assigns work.
• Provides technical input to meet procurement requirements and design reviews.
• Ensures training and development of personnel and performance assessments.
• Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approvals.
