Job summary

C&S Chemicals is seeking a Vice President of Operational Risk Management to lead the organization’s EHS strategy, programs, and culture across all sites. This senior role ensures regulatory compliance, drives safety performance, minimizes environmental impact, and embeds a proactive safety culture throughout the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing multi-site operations.
• 5+ years procurement strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals, growth plans, and risk tolerance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations; oversee permitting and reporting.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems across sites and units.
• Lead culture-building, training curricula, and accountability programs for a proactive safety culture.
• Build and mentor a high-performing EHS team and establish clear accountability structures.
• Guide sustainability, ESG initiatives, and external stakeholder relations.
• Develop and execute a multi-year procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with goals and TCO objectives.
