Job summary

RealFaith Ministries is seeking a Director of Development for The Remnant, a mission-driven donor community. This role leads donor relations, major gifts, and communications, ensuring high-touch cultivation and strategic growth of members across the country.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with Sales & Marketing, oversee the customer service aspect, and travel nationally to strengthen key relationships and partnerships that advance the ministry’s vision.

Qualifications

• Significant, proven experience in donor relations, major gift cultivation, or planned giving preferably within a ministry, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing a portfolio of mid-level and high-capacity partners.
• Strong communication skills with experience contributing to newsletters, email campaigns, or ministry communications.
• Exceptional relationship skills that are warm, trustworthy, and professionally persistent.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally when necessary.
• Event planning experience, including member cultivation and appreciation events.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and donor management tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Remnant members, maintaining consistent personal communication through phone, text, and email weekly.
• Build genuine professional relationships with members across engagement levels, focusing on highly invested members.
• Travel nationally to meet with members and deepen key relationships.
• Keep Remnant members informed and inspired through updates on ministry initiatives and impact of partnership.
• Identify and cultivate high-capacity partners within the Remnant community and beyond.
• Lead RealFaith’s inaugural legacy partnership team for long-term investments.
• Lead conversations around elevated giving opportunities and multi-year commitments.
• Develop strategy, benefits, cadence, and touchpoints for meaningful engagement.
• Develop strategies to connect RealFaith app subscribers to the Remnant community and deepen partnership.
• Grow the Remnant community through outreach and event-driven engagement.
• Plan and execute member cultivation and community events nationwide.
• Contribute to The Remnant newsletter, shaping content, tone, and cadence.
• Collaborate with Director of Sales and Marketing on Remnant communications and announcements.
• Ensure communications reflect RealFaith’s mission and voice.
