Job summary

CVS Health leads a world where health is personal. CVS Health seeks a proven AI leader to guide production clinical AI at enterprise scale, shaping strategy, governance, and a high-impact data science team delivering evidence-backed insights from clinical data.

You will partner with product and engineering to ensure capabilities align with policy, drive scalable and compliant AI, and champion responsible AI for patients and providers across CVS Health businesses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics, data science, or applied AI with hands-on ML/DL deployment.
• 5+ years setting AI/ML direction across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• 5+ years of people management with hiring and mentoring experience.
• Healthcare AI or analytics production experience at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in production ML lifecycle, evaluation, and governance.
• Experience with healthcare regulatory constraints and responsible AI.
• Fluent in Python and SQL; ability to review code and models.

Responsibilities

• Set the AI strategy and technical goals for the portfolio with product and eng.
• Co-shape technical direction and align squads to a unified plan.
• Ensure AI capabilities fit within the broader clinical intelligence platform.
• Ensure compliance with CVS Health policies and regulatory standards.
• Advance modern AI, LLMs, and generative AI for clinical data insights.
• Improve model evaluation, monitoring, and clinical validation.
• Drive cost, latency, reliability, and scalability improvements in production.
• Accelerate time-to-market via reusable patterns and evaluation harnesses.
• Directly manage and develop data science teams across squads.
• Hire, coach, and retain top clinical AI talent.
