Job summary

STRIVE is seeking a strategic Chief Development Officer to lead nationwide fundraising, expand revenue streams, and position STRIVE for national scale. You will partner with the CEO, executive directors, and boards to secure transformational investments and build sustainable funding ecosystems.

Qualifications

Senior fundraising leadership experience, preferably as a Chief Development Officer or equivalent.
Proven track record securing major philanthropic investments and complex partnerships.
Experience growing revenue, expanding programs, and scaling across multiple sites.
Ability to translate strategy into actionable fundraising plans and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

Translate STRIVE’s growth plan into national, regional, and site fundraising strategies and budgets.
Develop capacity to increase local fundraising and support sites in achieving self-sustaining operations.
Coordinate institutional, government, corporate, individual, and other revenue sources.
Lead and develop a high-performing development team with clear priorities.
Partner with the CEO and board to secure transformational gifts and donor support.
Represent STRIVE to funders, partners, elected officials, and community stakeholders.
