Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a President & Chief Development Officer to lead all fundraising efforts for the Medical Center and affiliated entities. You will set strategy, oversee donor relations, and coordinate with senior leadership to maximize philanthropy.

The role requires 12–15 years in not-for-profit leadership, a Master’s degree, and proven success in major campaigns. Travel is required and the position reports to the Medical Center CEO.

Qualifications

• Not-for-profit management experience at a complex medical/academic institution.
• Demonstrated leadership and professional accomplishment in fundraising.
• Experience leading large-scale fundraising campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising programs to increase philanthropic revenue.
• Lead the foundation team and manage staff, budget, and operations.
• Solicit major gifts and oversee donor relations with top prospects.
