Job summary

Maymont Foundation seeks a Vice President of Development to lead fundraising strategy, board engagement, grants oversight, and partnerships. You will connect institutional and individual giving to Maymont’s mission, reporting to the President & CEO.

Lead a team, guide strategic planning, and drive revenue growth across diverse streams while ensuring accountability and collaboration with marketing and program areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required for a senior development role.
• 7–10 years of nonprofit fundraising or advancement experience.
• Proven track record in major gifts, grants and donor stewardship.
• Experience with donor databases and prospect management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual/multiyear fundraising strategy across multiple revenue streams.
• Lead the development team; oversee leadership gifts, grants, and partnerships.
• Cultivate and solicit major donors, foundations, and government funders.
• Forecast revenue goals and report progress to the CEO and board.
• Collaborate with marketing and programs to align fundraising and communications.
