Job summary

Hennepin Arts in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Vice President of Development to lead the organization’s fundraising strategy, oversee major gifts, grants, and sponsorships, and guide a high-performing team toward ambitious financial goals.

Working with the CEO and Board, you will design comprehensive giving programs, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and partner with marketing to advance the mission across Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, with a track record in major gifts and institutional giving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
• Lead major gifts, grants, sponsorships, and donor relations.
• Oversee fundraising budget and ensure regulatory compliance.
