Job summary

Second Helpings Inc is seeking a dynamic Chief Development Officer to lead our fund development, marketing, communications and events. You will shape an integrated strategy to grow revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and elevate the organization’s brand and sustainability.

You will supervise the development team, set goals, ensure accountability, and partner with the CEO and Board to drive fundraising performance and impact reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fundraising, development, or related field with proven success.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising, marketing, communications and events.
• Develop integrated advancement strategy to grow revenue and donor relations.
• Manage a portfolio of major gifts and cultivate donor prospects.
• Oversee grant strategy, reporting, and future funding opportunities.
• Lead advancement team and manage budgets and resources.
