Job summary

Truist is seeking a Chief Data Risk Officer to lead independent oversight and challenge for Enterprise Data and AI management. The role reports to the CIRO and acts as a second line of defense, guiding data risk strategy and governance across data offices and AI programs.

Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and cross-functional influence are essential. The candidate will establish risk appetite, monitor policy compliance, and communicate risks to the Board.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data risk management framework.
• Provide independent risk oversight for Enterprise AI and Data across risk types.
• Review and challenge data and AI risk policies, standards, and procedures.
• Define and drive the Enterprise Data and AI Risk Framework and assess data management and privacy.
