Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals seeks a VP of Enterprise Data & Information Management to build and govern our enterprise data program. You will set standards for data quality, governance, MDM, and metadata while leading a federated, AI-ready data ecosystem.

You will own the data strategy, partner with Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Quality, and report to the SVP Chief AI Officer. This role requires executive leadership and cross-functional influence across the organization.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field.
• 20+ years leading enterprise data management, governance, or architecture to enable AI/analytics at scale.
• Deep expertise in data governance, MDM, metadata management, and data quality.
• Hands-on architectural depth in federated data architecture, semantic layers, and multimodal data infrastructure.
• Experience with GxP data compliance in regulated life sciences or biopharma.
• Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation, and modern data platforms for enterprise AI.
• Ability to communicate and influence across Digital & Technology, business units, and Legal/Regulatory.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise data quality standards and governance policy for Regeneron’s data estate.
• Holds executive accountability for data governance outcomes across the enterprise.
• Sets strategic direction for the enterprise semantic layer and data models.
• Oversees enterprise glossary and taxonomy standards.
• Leads the knowledge graph infrastructure strategy and investments.
• Owns architecture for a federated, AI-ready data ecosystem.
• Defines GxP data standards and regulatory data pipeline compliance strategy.
• Sets data privacy and security policy across the data estate.
