Job summary

Redwire seeks a Vice President of Operational Programs to drive alignment and execution of all U.S. operational program activities across multiple sites. The role connects General Managers, program directors, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless program delivery and cross-site coordination.

Leading major programs, new product introductions, and customer commitments, this leader will standardize processes, remove bottlenecks, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in operations, manufacturing, or program leadership in aerospace/defense.
• Ability to travel frequently across U.S. facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all operational program activities across U.S. facilities.
• Serve as the connective tissue between GMs, program directors, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and leadership.
• Align readiness, capacity planning, production schedules, and resource allocation for major programs.
• Act as the primary problem solver for cross-site operational issues impacting program execution.
• Lead cross-functional task forces to resolve urgent operational challenges around quality, delays, and supply constraints.
• Track operational performance of key programs and ensure schedule adherence and delivery commitments.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports for SVP and executives.
• Support customer reviews and risk mitigation reporting.
