Job summary

Middlesex Savings Bank in Massachusetts seeks a Chief Consumer Banking Officer to lead Retail Banking, Consumer/Residential Lending, and Marketing. This role reports to the President, CEO, & Chair and partners with the digital banking team to drive growth and customer value.

As a member of Executive Management, you will guide a senior team and about 260 employees, balancing branch relationships with digital channels to foster sustainable, profitable expansion while upholding the bank's mutual

Qualifications

Minimum of ten to fifteen years of progressive leadership experience in community banking.
Experience in both retail banking and consumer/residential lending.
Proven ability to lead senior leaders and align multiple business lines toward common strategic goals.
Proven success driving organic growth in deposits and consumer loan portfolios.
Strong understanding of the balance between branch-based relationship banking and digital channel evolution.

Responsibilities

Lead Retail Banking, Consumer/Residential Lending, and Marketing and partner with the digital banking team.
Provide strategic leadership to three direct reports and approximately 260 total employees.
Focus on delivering profitable, sustainable organic growth while preserving mutual values and community orientation.
