Job summary

State Bank, a high-performing community bank, seeks a Consumer Banking leader to drive sales initiatives and team performance across retail centers and Private Client production. The role focuses on achieving annual goals, ensuring policy compliance, and delivering strong customer service.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in consumer banking leadership, deep product knowledge, and proficiency with Salesforce/nCino. A BS in a related field and banking training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; specialized banking education and training related to sales and community banking.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of proven leadership in consumer banking and sales leadership roles.
• Dynamic interpersonal relations and communicative skills; strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of current financial products, community banking support, lending regulations, procedures, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, integration and optimization of innovative sales initiatives in consumer banking.
• Oversee performance of consumer banking staff across retail centers and Private Client production to meet regional goals.
• Develop and implement annual goals aligned with regional operating plans; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive revenue growth through deposits, loans, products and services, and customer satisfaction with visible leadership and performance management.
• Coach staff daily to maintain world-class service and manage performance gaps; collaborate with CRM and Digital Banking to drive ROI of Salesforce and ncino.
