Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Vice President of Construction to lead nationwide power generation and energy infrastructure programs, ensuring safe, predictable, and profitable project execution from mobilization through turnover.

The role drives operational excellence, develops the next generation of leaders, and partners with clients to deliver quality results while advancing innovation and standardization across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 15 years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams to deliver safe, on-time, within-budget performance
• Direct pre-construction activities from client intro through executive reviews
• Develop strategic plan for the business unit and drive its implementation
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
• Oversee safety policies, quality, scheduling, and cost control across projects
• Participate in executive meetings and travel as required
