TidalHealth in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the organization’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to healthcare laws, regulations and accreditation standards.

Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the CCO will promote integrity, identify regulatory risk, and partner with executive and clinical leadership to drive governance, education, monitoring, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Healthcare/Nursing/Business Administration or Organizational Development required.
• Certified as a CHC within one year from date of hire or transfer into role.
• CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance) or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of progressive healthcare management experience up to the Senior Director leadership level.

Chief Compliance Officer Summary

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) provides strategic leadership and oversight of TidalHealth’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the CCO promotes a culture of integrity while proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory and operational risk. This role partners with executive and clinical leadership to ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance, education, monitoring, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Chief Compliance Officer Requirements

Education:

• Master’s Degree in Healthcare/Nursing/Business Administration or Organizational Development required.

License and/or certification:

• Certified as a CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) is required within one year from date of hire or transfer into role.
• CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is preferred.

Experience:

• At least ten (10) years of progressive healthcare management experience up to the Senior Director leadership level.

Chief Compliance Officer Schedule

• Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
• Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
