Job summary

TidalHealth in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the organization’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to healthcare laws, regulations and accreditation standards.

Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the CCO will promote integrity, identify regulatory risk, and partner with executive and clinical leadership to drive governance, education, monitoring, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Healthcare/Nursing/Business Administration or Organizational Development required.
• Certified as a CHC within one year from date of hire or transfer into role.
• CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance) or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of progressive healthcare management experience up to the Senior Director leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of TidalHealth’s compliance program.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Partner with executive and clinical leadership to drive governance, regulatory compliance, education, monitoring, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Education

Master’s Degree in Healthcare/Nursing/Business Administration or Organizational Development

Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) within 1 year of hire

CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance) or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) preferred
