Job summary

InCommunity is seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer to guide leadership on risk and regulatory compliance across the organization. You will oversee Quality Assurance, Internal Audit, Ethics, Compliance, and Contract Management, with responsibility for the Compliance team and corporate secretary duties.

You will report to the Board, update governance policies, and drive training for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university required; Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia and member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia (or eligibility via reciprocity).
• Minimum of 7 years in senior-level compliance, audit, or quality assurance; preference for healthcare/government settings serving individuals with disabilities; 5+ years practicing law with 2+ years in-house/non-profit.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on complex compliance issues including regulatory requirements, labor matters, and QA matters.
• Lead Quality Assurance/Internal Audit, Ethics, Compliance and Contract Management functions and oversee Compliance team staff.
• Serve as Corporate Secretary and ensure governance with Board bylaws, policies, and reporting to the Board.
• Develop and monitor compliance training programs; implement risk management policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with leadership on regulatory matters and collaborate with external legal experts as needed.
