Job summary

Forest Highlands Golf Club in Flagstaff, AZ seeks a Director of Community Operations to lead finance, infrastructure, and administration across the private club community. You will set long-range priorities, enable cross-functional execution, and build leaders.

You will oversee capital planning, operations, assets, and technology enablement, partnering with the GM/COO to align resources with strategy and member experience. Experience in HOA/private club environments is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex operations, finance, and capital planning in a large service organization.
• Ability to develop leaders, establish accountability, and drive cross-functional execution.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated leadership across community operations, finance, infrastructure, essential services, and administration.
• Lead through experienced managers, delegating while ensuring accountability for results.
• Oversee annual operating and capital planning, forecast, and financial reporting.
• Guide capital projects from business-case to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule and cost controls.
• Engage with the Board and committees, communicating complex financial and operational matters clearly.
