An innovative, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Chief Commercial Officer to lead all aspects of commercial strategy and launch execution for its lead CNS asset. The company is advancing novel therapies for serious neuropsychiatric conditions with significant unmet need and is approaching a pivotal stage in development and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall commercial strategy, including product positioning, go-to-market planning, and market development for lead and pipeline assets.
• Build and scale the commercial organization, including marketing, market access, sales, and commercial operations functions.
• Drive pre-launch and launch readiness activities across all key functions in alignment with regulatory and development milestones.
• Partner closely with executive leadership, R&D, regulatory, and medical affairs to shape portfolio strategy and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Serve as a key spokesperson for the company’s commercial vision in discussions with investors, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies with a deep understanding of U.S. payer and provider dynamics in CNS and specialty care.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably with a strong track record in CNS, psychiatry, neurology, or rare disease.
• Demonstrated success leading U.S. product launches, preferably from clinical stage through commercial buildout.
• Experience in both large pharma and emerging biotech environments is strongly preferred.
• Strategic mindset with strong executional capabilities and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-growth setting.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
