Location: East Coast USA/ Remote working based on the East Coast able to travel

Compensation: $320,000 – $400,000 base + 30% bonus + equity

A leading clinical-stage biotechnology company is seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President of Clinical Development to spearhead its global neuroscience pipeline. This executive role offers the opportunity to shape and lead clinical development strategies for transformative therapies in neurodegenerative diseases.

This is a highly strategic position for a seasoned clinical leader who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced biotech environment and is looking to make a significant impact in advancing treatments for CNS disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical development strategy and execution for neuroscience programs across all phases (Phase I–III)
• Provide executive leadership across clinical development, regulatory, medical affairs, and R&D functions
• Drive engagement with global regulatory authorities and oversee major regulatory submissions
• Represent the clinical organization with KOLs, investigators, and internal/external stakeholders
• Mentor and lead cross-functional development teams in a matrixed environment

Qualifications

• M.D. required; Neurology or Psychiatry specialization preferred
• Significant leadership experience in CNS clinical development within biotech or pharma
• Proven track record in global clinical trial execution and regulatory strategy
• Experience managing senior scientific and clinical teams
• Ability to influence at the executive level and drive cross-functional alignment
