Job summary

Takeda seeks a senior leader to define and execute the vision for Commercial Analytics and Insights across U.S. franchises. You will set an enterprise-wide insights strategy that connects research, data and analytics to business decisions.

You will lead a center of excellence, build and manage the team, and partner with Finance, Digital, and Data teams to deliver scalable, data-driven insights and AI-enabled analytics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in business or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
15+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with 5–7 years in forecasting, market research, or analytics senior leadership.
Biopharmaceutical commercial capabilities at leadership level.
Experience across marketing, market access, sales operations, insights/analytics, business development.
Experience building centers of excellence and leading organizational change.
Must be a true team player with humility, adaptability, and executive presence.
Ability to motivate and lead teams; managerial courage to make tough decisions.
Influencing cross-functional, highly matrixed teams with stakeholders.
Fluent in modern marketing tech stack with data pipelines and analytics tools.
Ability to communicate data-driven decisions with clear pros/cons.
Resourceful, creative problem solver.
Ability to operate at multiple altitudes within the organization.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision, operating model, and priorities for the Commercial Analytics and Insights organization.
Set an enterprise-wide insights strategy connecting research, commercial data, and analytics for business decisions.
Lead a center of excellence serving U.S. franchise teams and reduce duplication.
Develop and manage the organization’s work plan, team structure, budget, activities, and deliverables.
Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of insights, analytics, data science, and forecasting professionals.
Lead market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, reporting, data science, and forecasting to generate actionable insights.
Build and lead a market research and forecasting function for commercial strategy and planning.
Build and lead a data science team using advanced analytics to time key support decisions.
Partner with Finance to optimize quarterly latest-estimate process for net sales guidance and planning.
Collaborate with Digital and Data to standardize and automate analytics for timely insights.
Establish and manage agency/vendor partnerships and deliver presentations to senior leadership.
