Job summary

BMAG—part of W. R. Berkley Corporation—seeks a Chief Claims Officer to lead the Claims organization across the OU, driving strategy, operations, compliance, and customer service. The CCO will guide people management, performance, and cross-functional collaboration with WRBC entities.

Leading innovation in claims and shaping enterprise-wide imperatives, the CCO will oversee a leadership team and ensure high-quality claim outcomes while aligning with enterprise goals and a PeopleFirst culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of advanced multiline commercial claims leadership experience.
• Executive level skill in strategy, communications, and people management.
• Experience with Auto, Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation and Umbrella claims.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates the vision, strategy and priorities of the Claims organization.
• Leads department goals with measurable performance objectives and reporting.
• Ensures sound reserving practices and favorable claim outcomes with controlled costs and leakage.
• Leads innovation to improve customer experience and claim operations efficiency.
• Manages quality and compliance programs with robust controls.
