About The Role

As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will supervise the team responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, a campus, or a portfolio of buildings.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Track staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee hiring processes.
• Coordinate daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Develop and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Ensure mechanics and technicians have the necessary information and materials to complete work efficiently.
• Estimate material and labor costs for work orders, preventive maintenance, and projects.
• Manage budgets for facilities maintenance.
• Respond to emergency situations appropriately.
• Seek and develop improved methods for department objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise within your discipline and knowledge of other areas.
• Coach others to develop expertise across functions.
• Lead by example, embodying CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to product, process, and operational improvements.
• Communicate complex ideas effectively and persuasively.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of relevant experience; experience and education combined will be considered.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting over 50 lbs.
