Job summary

SiriusPoint is seeking a Chief Architect to lead its enterprise architecture function and technology strategy. This senior role defines architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business goals, data, applications, and security across the organization.

You will chair governance forums, oversee architecture across enterprise, data, cloud, and infrastructure, and guide major initiatives, acquisitions, and modernization efforts while partnering with delivery and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in insurance and reinsurance across multiple functions.
• 10+ years in at least three architecture disciplines (business, information, solution or technical).
• 5+ years in strategic and operations planning or business analysis.
• Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Knowledge of EA frameworks and ITIL; ability to lead governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Enterprise Architecture strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Align technology investments with business capabilities, priorities, and transformation objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for underwriting, claims, finance, operations, data, and AI platforms.
• Chair Architecture Review Boards and technology governance forums.
• Oversee enterprise, data, cloud, and infrastructure architecture functions.
• Provide architectural guidance for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and modernization efforts.
• Lead evaluation and selection of major technology platforms and strategic vendors.
• Ensure security, scalability, resiliency, and maintainability in architectural decisions.
• Partner with Data and AI leaders to align data and integration architectures.
