Job summary

SiriusPoint is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Group IT team in New York. You will design integrations, drive implementation of systems, and optimize workflows with AI while reporting to the Chief Architect & Delivery Officer.

You will evaluate and architect across business applications, ensuring compliance with EA standards, data governance and security controls. Strong communication and collaboration with vendors and stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or related field.
• 5+ years of experience across at least two IT solution development disciplines including architecture, cloud, and integration.
• Experience with AWS technologies, serverless and containerized workloads; Azure or other clouds is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud governance across multi-cloud/multi-region environments.
• Deep expertise in SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, DevOps and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint and document all solution design work.
• Lead evaluation, design and analysis for implementation of architecture across business applications or technologies.
• Maintain current understanding of emerging technologies and assess relevance to business goals.
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture standards, security policies, data governance, and financial controls.
• Document and improve data flows between systems and reporting tools for accuracy and transparency.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, ML and automation to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams and vendors to implement architectural solutions.
• Continuously analyze the IT environment to identify improvements.
