Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect to define and execute architecture strategy across its IT ecosystem in a hybrid work environment. You will lead cross-domain programs, establish AI integration patterns, and govern Build vs Buy decisions to drive enterprise transformation.

You will partner with engineering, security, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure systems and data architectures, while guiding technology roadmaps and governance at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, software development, with at least 6+ years in an enterprise architecture role.
• Proven experience in assessing organizational AI capabilities and leading enterprise-wide transformation.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in data architecture, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership and change management skills to drive adoption of new processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and execute the enterprise-wide IT target-state architecture, technology roadmaps, and modernization strategy across ERP, CRM, HCM, Data Platforms, Middleware and infrastructure.
• Standardize integration patterns, API management, data flows, and security architectures for interoperability across enterprise systems.
• Provide architectural oversight and decision support for major programs such as ERP implementation and domain onboarding.
• Lead the architectural design and enablement strategy for incorporating AI across enterprise workflows and IT systems.
• Establish secure AI integration patterns, guardrails, data pipelines, and governance frameworks including data privacy and model scalability.
• Evaluate enterprise AI tools, platform integrations, and automation agents to accelerate internal efficiency.
• Establish and govern the enterprise Build vs Buy framework with Total Cost of Ownership analyses.
• Conduct architectural risk assessments and due diligence on third-party integrations and software investments.
• Establish and chair the Enterprise Architecture Review Board with standards and compliance gates.
