Job summary

MatrixCare is seeking a Vice President of Architecture to own the technical direction of the product portfolio and lead the architecture practice. You will set target architecture across all MatrixCare products, establish standards, and guide a team of principal and domain architects.

You will partner with CTO, engineering, product, and customers to evolve a cloud-native, AI-native platform that scales with the business, balancing hands-on design with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years designing and delivering enterprise software.
• 5+ years as a principal architect, chief architect, or head of architecture for a multi-product portfolio.
• Deep and current hands-on AWS expertise, including multi-account design and cost architecture.
• Healthcare software experience with HIPAA and either SOC 2 or HITRUST control environments.
• Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and USCDI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of principal and domain architects.
• Define and own the target architecture across the MatrixCare platform.
• Translate business strategy into a clear architecture roadmap with sequencing and costs.
• Own the architecture decision record practice and governance at gates.
• Design a common, multi-tenant AWS platform and shared services layer.
