The role emphasizes hands-on design, state-of-the-art tools (CST, HFSS, ADS, MATLAB), and collaboration with customers to meet requirements and drive program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Graduate degree and extensive relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 16 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for complex antenna and RF/Microwave development programs across airborne, maritime, and ground systems.
• Guide the execution of technical design review briefings.
• Assess and report on technical project status, risks, and issues.
• Mentor junior engineers on antenna development to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Lead business development activities including planning, customer visits, technical briefings, and demonstrations.
• Generate accurate estimates for NRE and recurring costs.
• Serve as main technical point of contact with customers on technical and contractual matters.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
