Job summary

Synchrony seeks an SVP, Head of AI Solutions Technology to lead the AI capability across enterprise programs, translating high‑priority use cases into scalable, secure AI solutions. You will drive architecture, model integration, data flows, and risk-aware delivery while mentoring senior AI engineers and analysts.

You will partner with product, engineering, data, and governance teams to establish standardized patterns and durable technology outcomes, ensuring adoption and measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 12+ years of software engineering/data/AI experience.
• Proven track record leading tech organizations or multi-team programs delivering complex enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI patterns including RAG, agentic workflows, model orchestration, evaluation frameworks, LLMOps, vector search, and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solutions technology across strategic business-unit and enterprise use cases, managing technical leads and delivery teams across multiple programs.
• Serve as hands-on technical leader for complex AI designs including architecture, model integration, data flows, APIs, and observability.
• Translate opportunities into roadmaps, milestones, and actionable plans aligned to business outcomes and responsible AI guardrails.
• Build reusable AI assets, reference architectures, and delivery playbooks to reduce cycle time and improve consistency across programs.
• Develop and grow high-performing AI technology talent and foster a culture of excellence.
