Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking an experienced AI governance leader to design and deploy trustworthy AI practices across the enterprise. You will build risk-based governance, evaluation, and compliance controls enabling safe, scalable AI deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, data science, product, legal, and quality teams to embed responsible AI in development workflows and ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience building ML/LLM evaluation infrastructure in production.
• Knowledge of regulated computerized systems; GxP/Part 11 or equivalent validation preferred.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into engineering and compliance actions.
• Curiosity about AI risks, bias, transparency, and governance.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience for senior level.

Responsibilities

• Develops and operationalizes responsible AI governance, evaluation methodologies, and compliance controls.
• Performs AI risk, bias, transparency, privacy, and compliance assessments; establishes audit-ready frameworks.
• Collaborates with engineering, data science, product, legal, quality, and security to embed responsible AI into workflows.
• Ensures architecture supports audit and policy via Eval suites, observability, and production-grade gates.
• Creates policies, standards, and training to promote ethical AI and continuous improvement.
