Job summary

Agility Robotics, a leader in humanoid robotics, seeks a Senior Director of AI to define and execute the AI strategy across perception, planning, and interaction for our next-generation robots. You will lead a high-performance team, shape the AI architecture, ensure safety and ethics, and collaborate with hardware and software leaders to align sensors and compute with models.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of AI/ML experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
• Experience deploying real-time AI solutions for robotics or autonomous systems.
• Strong expertise in computer vision, reinforcement learning, and LLMs applied to robotics.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the AI strategy and roadmap for embodied AI.
• Lead integration of ML models, deep learning, and AI systems across hardware and software teams.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of on-robot and cloud AI systems.
• Establish MLOps practices for training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Drive Sim2Real using physics-based simulators to train robust policies.
