Job summary

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to develop and execute the engagement strategy to advance the school’s mission.

The VP provides strategic leadership to a four-full-time and two-part-time advancement team responsible for major gifts, annual giving, planned gifts, and growing the endowment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of development experience in gifts, alumni relations and major donor relations.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to cultivate diverse relationships.
• Experience with annual, planned and capital gifts and endowment growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the advancement engagement strategy to support the school’s mission.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the advancement team.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts, annual gifts and planned gifts.
• Lead efforts to grow the endowment and support capital projects and financial aid.
