Job summary

St. John’s Jesuit High School & Academy in Toledo, Ohio seeks a Vice President of Advancement to lead donor engagement and revenue growth.

You will oversee a four-full-time and two-part-time advancement team, crafting strategies to identify, cultivate and secure major gifts, annual giving, planned gifts and capital gifts to strengthen the endowment and support the operating fund, scholarships and facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with 5–10 years in development.
Experience in annual gifts, planned giving, alumni relations, and major donor relations.
Excellent communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.
Leadership experience aligned with mission and values.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the engagement strategy to advance the school's mission.
Provide strategic leadership to the advancement team (4 FT, 2 PT).
Identify, cultivate and secure major gifts, annual gifts, planned gifts, and capital gifts.
Grow the endowment to support operating funds, capital projects, and scholarships.
Champion the mission through leadership, communication, and relationship building.
