Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking a Head of Clinical Command Operations to lead the nationwide Clinical Command Centers and support the regional NOP clinical services organization. The role requires clinical credibility and a track record of managing time-critical, 24/7 clinical operations.

The successful candidate will drive strategy, staffing, and 24/7 case acceptance while partnering with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams to deploy pipeline devices and services.

Qualifications

• Active or prior clinical licensure (MD or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in a clinical field, healthcare administration, or business.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year strategy and operating model for Clinical Services and the Clinical Command Center.
• Own end-to-end Command Center performance including case intake, triage, and dispatch.
• Lead and develop a distributed clinical leadership team (perfusionists, nurses, device specialists).
• Ensure FDA compliance, OPTN/UNOS policies, and HRSA regulations across the program.
• Oversee logistics, device readiness, and real-time case analytics with IT and engineering.
