Job summary

The Church is seeking a Cook to join the team in the kitchen. The Cook will prepare and cook all food products per the Manager in Charge of the Shift and in accordance with the Church Operating Standards Manual. Timeliness, cleanliness, and organization are essential to meet operational needs.

Primary duties include setting up batter tables, preparing mixes, and ensuring equipment is functioning. The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines and the ability to manage holding

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Stand/walk for up to eight hours in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and cooking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up batter table, prepare batter mix, and collect wares.
• Cook all food products as directed by the Manager in Charge of the Shift.
• Ensure food meets specifications and quality standards per the SOM.
• Maintain clean work area and proper stocking of batter area, cooler, and supplies.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Adhere to safety equipment usage and proper holding times for food products.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge.
