Job summary

The Cook position at Ontario Trillium Foundation plays a critical role on our church kitchen team. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up batter table, collect wares, and prepare batter mix.
• Ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Check equipment and report malfunctions to Manager in Charge.
• Color balance fryers and maintain shortening level.
• Filter and clean fryers according to safety guidelines.
• Portion and pan chicken for operational needs.
• Prepare and cook food as directed by the Manager.
• Ensure food meets specifications and holding times as per SOM.
