Chick-fil-A East Doral DTO in Florida is seeking a Shift Leader who embodies our core values and serves guests with a heart of service. You will support senior leadership in daily operations while coaching team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Provide immediate, respectful responses to guest needs.
• Assist in training new hires, set the shift tone, and model behavior for the team.
• Train other trainers to build future team members and sustain training.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, and act as key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day accurately.
• Maintain excellent written and spoken communication.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Analyze daily operations to uphold operational excellence.
• Address guest issues and consult management on complex matters.
• Engage team members and leaders to keep guest experience at the forefront.

They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Trains other trainers to help build future Team Members and sustain ongoing training
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Insures that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times
• Manage daily analytics to maintain operational excellence at all times
• Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues
• Insures Team Members and Team Leaders are engaged at all times with the guest experience
