Job summary

  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience leading and developing other leaders.
  • Strong operational and business acumen with experience owning KPIs, labor, scheduling, cost control, or P&L-related results.
  • Demonstrated ability to create accountability, coach performance, and develop leaders.
  • Excellent communicator who can lead meetings, navigate conflict, and align a leadership team.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to balance people leadership and daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of Directors, Managers, and Team Leaders, equipping them to lead their areas of the business.
  • Drive operational excellence across food safety, food quality, guest experience, speed, cleanliness, and team performance.
  • Coach leaders through regular 1:1s, meetings, training, feedback, and hands-on development.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, solve problems quickly, and build systems that improve execution across the restaurant.
  • Own key business results including labor productivity, inventory, food cost, scheduling, expenses, and profitability.
  • Build a culture of care and accountability where leaders know what they own and follow through.
  • Analyze performance data and translate results into clear goals and action plans for the leadership team.
  • Partner with HR and Training leadership to maintain appropriate staffing levels and develop a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Work alongside the Owner/Operator and Director team to establish priorities and continuously improve restaurant performance.

We are looking for a high-capacity Store Director to join our team at Chick-fil-A. This is a hands-on senior operational leadership role for an experienced leader who can lead through others, create accountability, and drive results in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As Store Director, you will lead and develop a team of Directors, Managers, and Team Leaders while taking ownership of the systems and rhythms that drive the business. You will work closely with the Owner/Operator to strengthen culture, develop leaders, improve profitability, and consistently raise the standard of operational excellence.
