Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Manager for the Chicagoland region. This role reports to the General Manager and oversees multi-site operations, focusing on productivity, customer service, and employee engagement. You will drive strategy execution, manage budgets, and lead a team to meet regional goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of equivalent experience, with Master’s preferred. Frequent travel within the region is required; MS Office and SAP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Operations Management, Business, Civil or mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with the GM on development of objectives and long-range goals for the region.
• Cascades objectives to measurable goals for area of responsibility and ensures execution of strategies.
• Provides direction to managers to achieve business objectives.
• Participates in operating budgets and reviews cost drivers affecting financials.
• Promotes a culture of safety and environmental stewardship and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Develops staffing plans, recruits, supervises, and appraises staff.
