Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our in-office Chicago team. You’ll begin in the Sales Development Associate program, mentored by a senior SDR, and train through the Sales Development Academy to build foundational skills for a long-term Sales career.

You’ll reach out to potential Stripe customers, pitch relevant products, and collaborate with senior sellers to nurture opportunities into pipeline.

Qualifications

• A track record of top performance in academics or professional endeavors.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a hyper-growth environment.
• In-office participation 3–4 days per week in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Contact potential customers through cold-calling, email, and social channels.
• Book meetings with prospects and pitch Stripe products that fit their business.
• Develop relationships to uncover business needs and qualify interest.
• Research and create outreach materials with SDRs and Account Executives.
• Execute outbound sales campaigns and leverage marketing-driven messaging.
• Keep CRM updated in Salesforce to support weekly reporting.
