Job summary

TrumpCard is seeking a driver to safely operate a commercial truck for extended hours to pick up and deliver freight locally to airlines and customers. The role requires loading and unloading cargo, maintaining logs, and coordinating with dispatchers to follow service levels.

Applicants should have a High School diploma and 3 years of commercial driving experience, with a valid license and ability to handle heavy loads. This is an on-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

• Experience operating a handheld computer or mobile device for shipment data.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.
• Maintain regular contact with dispatcher for instructions.
• Complete bill of ladings and MAWB’s for airlines to tender freight.
• Keep driver logs and vehicle inspection reports per regulations.
• Interact daily with customers and handle loading/unloading duties.

Drives truck, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver goods locally to the airline and/or customer as determined by service level of shipment.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSTo load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.Neatly complete bill of ladings and MAWB’s (Master Airway Bill) for airlines in order to tender freight.Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations.Interact daily with customers.Sit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs. Must be able to load cargo weighing in excess of 1000 lbs with the assistance of a pallet jackPAY$23.00 per hour, we consider a variety of factors in determining base compensation including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, internal equity, market data and geography.QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma3 years commercial driving experienceMust hold valid Driver’s License. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Must be able to climb into and out of tractor several times per day using 3 points of contact. Ability to lift over 50lbs at a time. Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and squat in order to perform a full inspection of the underside of the trailer and inspect tires for adequate inflation and potential damage.
