Job summary

TrumpCard is seeking a driver to safely operate a commercial truck for extended hours to pick up and deliver freight locally to airlines and customers as directed by service levels.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, maintaining logs, and completing bills of lading while staying in close contact with the dispatcher; applicants must lift up to 50 lbs and handle 26,000+ GVW vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Must hold valid Driver’s License.
• Able to operate a truck >26,000 lbs GVW.
• Ability to operate handheld computer and email.
• Strong time-management and paperwork skills.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The driver will safely and efficiently drive a commercial truck for extended hours to pick up and deliver freight. Drives truck, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver goods locally to the airline and/or customer as determined by service level of shipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.

Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.

Neatly complete bill of ladings and MAWB’s (Master Airway Bill) for airlines in order to tender freight.

Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations.

Interact daily with customers.

Sit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs. Must be able to load cargo weighing in excess of 1000 lbs with the assistance of a pallet jack

PAY

$27.00 per hour, we consider a variety of factors in determining base compensation including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, internal equity, market data and geography.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma

3 years commercial driving experience

Must hold valid Driver’s License. Must be able to operate a truck with a capacity of 26,000 plus pounds gross vehicle weight.

Ability to operate handheld computer / cellular telephone. Time management, processing paperwork

Must have basic knowledge of computers and email. The ability to operate handheld device used to communicate shipment information

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to operate and drive a truck with a capacity of 26,000lbs GVW. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Must be able to climb into and out of tractor several times per day using 3 points of contact. Ability to lift over 50lbs at a time. Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and squat in order to perform a full inspection of the underside of the trailer and inspect tires for adequate inflation and potential damage. Must be able to work outside for short periods of time in all types of weather.
