Drives truck, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver goods locally to the airline and/or customer as determined by service level of shipment.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*** To load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.* Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.* Neatly complete bill of ladings and MAWB’s (Master Airway Bill) for airlines in order to tender freight.* Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations.* Interact daily with customers.* Sit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and squat in order to perform a full inspection of the underside of the trailer and inspect tires for adequate inflation and potential damage.
