Overview

The Chicago office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an experienced employment litigation associate to join our Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 4-6 years of employment experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment, and has a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.
• Work with clients on various day‑to‑day challenges under all employment laws, drafting/revising handbooks, training, and similar activities.
• Educate clients through learning programs geared to guide them through challenging moments with their business using unique technology platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of employment litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to and empathy for team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar and a JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.
