Job summary

J+J Flooring Group in Chicago is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive commercial flooring product line sales within the territory. You will engage architects, interior designers, contractors, and corporate clients to identify opportunities and close deals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, market development, and end-to-end sales processes, with travel as needed and a compensation range of $90k to $150k total cash depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in commercial interior and/or flooring outside sales.
• Experience working with interior and architectural community within the designated geography.
• A college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities through new construction and refurbishing projects.
• Establish relationships with strategic accounts to promote geographical growth.
• Provide sales and marketing services including calls, materials, presentations, and events.
• Move projects through the sales process including specification, bidding, and supplying.
• Maintain status and service on bids and current specifications to secure projects.
