Job summary

VNA Health Group is hiring a Full-Time Home Health Aide to serve Bergen County, NJ. You’ll provide compassionate personal care per the plan of care, assist with mobility, and support families with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services per the plan of care.
• Assist patients with mobilization and rehabilitation.
• Communicate with patients and families regularly.
• Submit required documentation per agency policy.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety policies.
• Adhere to absenteeism and appearance policies.
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude similar work.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Submits required documentation as per agency policy and procedures

• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Working Conditions/Physical Demand

Working indoors with client/customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00.
